As an activity for the chapter reproduction in
plants, the students dissected a seed (kidney bean) and observed the different
parts of it. They also correlated the different structures with its function.
After understanding the structure of a seed, they proceeded to the dissection a
hibiscus flower where they observed the different parts-petals, anther,
filament etc.
